i totally agree with ladystardust. it should be a time of regeneration and focusing on yourself and taking care of yourself. I love how many guys tell me "oh I don't care that you are on your period!" (when it comes to sex) ... well I DO! I've tried it and its definitely not comfortable (to me).

I been married 2x and both my husbands love to have sex anytime, including that time, and my fiance now is the same way, they all have said to me you got soap and water let's go and get lay down the darkest towel in the house, I do notice that if you take a shower it goes away and don't come back until you are finish, or it's there lightly, any hoo the heat from the male's body is very soothing on my stomach it's better than a hot water bottle.
