This video was created from two others by simply splicing them together. Sad to say I did not create the sequencing you see here for the scenes from Passion, but that footage is the opening portion of the 2nd video listed below.

The Nativity Story, Part 3

"Come To Me" Elise - The Passion of Christ (The Crucifixion)

Technical difficulties made "simply splicing them together" take 7 hours! But no matter - it was accomplished! :)

  • Sweet, but...this is obviously a wedding song.

  • @AlcinoustheXIIth

Yes, the church is portrayed as the bride of Christ in the Bible. And the "wedding" alludes to His return. But I might have to take this down & re-upload. Some script in it was causing my computer to run slow according to Adobe. Ugh. Glad you saw before I have to mess with it! :)

  • @fruitofspirit

You should use her version of God Bless the Child! Not trying to boss you around, just a suggestion...

  • @AlcinoustheXIIth

Never heard it, but I'll look it up.

    :)

  • whats the name of the movie that the first part of this video is based on?

  • @borednarabota

Thank you for watching. It's scenes from "The Nativity."

There's a link in the description (top right of the screen) to part 3, but you can navigate from there to part 1 & see the whole movie on Youtube, I bet. Great movie. We bought it.

  • @AlcinoustheXIIth Not necessarily. I think it can be a song from a mother to her newborn child, and a song for a born again Christian to our Lord. It's a song that carries a message of deep, devotional, unconditional love.

  • She has a beautiful voice. And this song really lent itself to this purpose. :)

  • Shania Twain is one of my faves!! :)

  • Just want to add - the point of this video is not to "venerate" Mary. As all the prophets, she was a child of dust. She was nothing apart from God. But we sometimes operate under the assumption that the patriarchs of the Bible were "special" & that it's okay if our level of devotion to God pales in comparison to them. But that is not true, Christ deserves & has earned this degree of passionate faith - from this moment on.
