begins shaky and with clams at 18, but you recover and hit your licks after that. One thing that would help is to not tongue everything. At 31 - 33 you play a cool diminished riff and harmonically that is the best thing you say. Trumpet is a monster and the only way to control it is hours in the shed. the creativity comes with listening in my opinion. A pro who plays great funk is Andrew Carney - check him out
