@trackspike64 Just now I did try to open any throttle at stand alone pc without any hooked up dcc. I got the same problem like you. Likely most it means the dcc has to be connected to your jmri pc. and programming track with a locomotive on it should be connected as well. at least I did this way.

well i up loaded the program but did not hook up the dcc system to the pc but i wanted to just check out the software but when i went into the tools to see what the throttles looked like I cant get the throttle to open up that drop box so do i have to have the system all hooked up or did i not get a good down load and need to reinstall
