bad movie for an awesome novel, i only liked shakira's songs

I read the book which is amazing, EL GABO is one of the most talented novel writers ever in spanish language, and although i was a little bit dissapointed when i saw the movie, i enjoyed it as well, it was very well produced, and the cast was great too

Unfortunately there isn't a movie for "Cien anos de soledad". I've loved this movie so much by the way. Bardem is great, and Shakiras's song is perfect for these scenes. AND YOU, HOW LONG WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO WAIT FOR LOVE?

I don't think they got the point of the novel, I thought it was cheesy and they focus on romance and from my point of view the novel is a reflection about love not simply a love story; also most of the time I felt as if the actor were trying to repeat what Gabo wrote and even more, I don't think most of them studied the characters. Besides, the first mistake on a list of mistakes, they did the movie in English, they should have done in Spanish.
