@pungadoo Yes, but this was a Bengal tiger, not a Siberian tiger.

It would've made sense if Dr. Ellen Rogers was the lion expert on this episode and if Dave represented the tiger on Siberian tiger vs. grizzly bear. After all, Dave is the big cat expert and does know tigers in particular. That role shouldn't be given to Ellen and because Dave already represented a tiger is not a good enough reason. As for Ellen representing the lion, she is a lion expert. But Dave got the lion on lion vs. nile crocodile and that made sense to me.

not for sport. if you believe in god then you should know that he also gave man the responsibility of taking care of the animals of the world

@bigcatsliontiger
Interesting point. Ya, for example, Emanuel Yarborough is 680 lbs and 6' 8" so therefore ALL black (ie, Afro-American) people are that big? No.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
They have exaggerated sizes and weights about tigers. What about JAWS?, They tell nothing about jaws..., and fully grown male lions seen and weighting 230 kg or more, are they ghosts?, hahaha!

Ya, that's a common fallacy of reasoning in these forums: they make extreme specimens the NORM. Ex, they take 900 lb Siberian tigers and paint them all with the same brush. Dave Salmoni says in the wild the tigers on average don't get much bigger than the lions do. Perhaps, he means they don't live long enough to grow that big, I'm entirely sure.
