I used to spend my summer days here in the mid 70s, used to sail my homemade boats too.....only mine werent quite as good as this one....nor quite as watertight. Thanks for posting...it brought back a lot of childhood memories. Nice to see that some things don't change.

i just ordered a northwind today and i'm anxious 4 it's arrival....it seems th@ the bow of ur boat is above the water a bit?? why is th@???

She was built exactly tothe instructions so it must be the design.
In a good wind she cuts nthrough the water nicely .
If the bow was any lower I think there would be a tendency to dip and flood the stem.
