Dude i got battery 11.5V 2AH and i want resistor that make the battery voltage 4V , how do I can know how much OHMs resistor I need? please help!

@SoundOut260 Didn't deal with electronics since I've been finishing my electronics studies but as far as I remember you have two relations that can explain the power in watt.
Power P Tension U and Intensity I
P = U×I
And the other one is the very first I've been taught
U = R×I were R is resistance.
From these you get
P = R×I²
We used to work with 1/4W resistors. If you consider the last relation you can understand : the more resistance and Intensity the more power (and heat by the way).

Hi there could you explain to me the watts on Ceramic Resistors (used for Audio Speaker Crossovers) i understand the Ohms ie the higher the Ohm the higher the Resistance yeah? but watts? ie 5w 7w 9w 10watt ect. does it make a big difference the watts?never really understood it Thanks.!

my amp is 300watts, and it has 2 output terminals. in one terminal, i want to connect a 4 ohm speaker and an 8 ohm speaker in parallel. d 8ohm speaker is 100watts. what kind of resistor to use with it, so it wont be damaged by the excess power. how to connect it? PLEASE REPLY!!!!!!!
