Maria Callas nell'agosto 1954 a Milano ha inciso in studio "La Forza del Destino" di Giuseppe Verdi. Qui viene eseguita l'aria "Pace, pace, mio Dio!". Direttore Tullio Serafin, Orchestra e Coro del Teatro alla Scala. Le fotografie sono tratte dallo splendido volume di Eugenio Gara, edito nel 1959, e dedicato alla Divina.

@Maggielicious21 I agree . She tends to be so great that she brings out the envy in some. And to think that Rudolf Bing-banned her from the met and nearly murdered the love of Opera in the US. He was an ugly little snake and the art nearly died in America. Rudolf Bingle-Bang! He refused to allow her artistic license, perhaps because she was a female. Hmmmmm----What do you suppose was his problem?
