ANCHOR:
An empty cargo vessel hit a bridge under construction near the port of Ningbo, Zhejiang Province last Thursday, injuring fourteen crew members. Four crew members were reportedly still missing six days after the accident.

STORY:
Workers are trying to remove the cargo vessel, code named Qinfeng 128, from underneath the collapsed section of the bridge.
Bad weather has hampered rescue efforts by more than 10 salvage ships.
The vessel collided with the lower span of the of the Jintang bridge last Thursday, causing a 60-meter long section to crash down on top of her.
Within hours of the accident, 16 out of the 20 crew members were rescued with 14 of them suffering minor injuries.
The four missing crew members may be trapped inside the ship's cabin when the 3,000-ton section of the bridge collapsed on top of it.

No workers were on the bridge at the time of the accident.

Nine people died in a similar accident last year when a cargo vessel slammed into the Jiujiang bridge in Guandong province.

  • They should stick to making take-aways.

  • the real question here is why the hell the captain of the ship was headed towards an obviously lower than his ship bridge that was under construction

  • Wow, what a mess!!

  • A lot of out of context responses, no bridge under construction can tolerate any serious collision. They are incredibly vulnerable until all the parts are connected. On the other hand allowing a ship to hit a bridge under construction is a pretty big failure.

  • They need to just give up after 12 hours and start demolishing it like they do their trains.

  • made in china = made of shit

  • @davidlee110 u are wrong, Chinese homes are built by bricks.US home built by wood...The weight of the ship is much much larger than the bridge. and the speed is the matter too.Learn physics, u ignored american idiot.if i use my fist to hit your face, let's see chinese fist good, or american face good.

  • @beattheB if a car from china try to hit a US home. the car will be destroyed and not the home.

US car hit Chinese home, it will crushed the home and not the car.

that how the economy will crash in China in near future.

how the fuck they get 60 trillion yuan in a few years?

  • @parsifal3142 NTD IS ANTI-CHINA, it is supported by foreign countries, that is the fact.

  • @davidlee110 the ship is made in China too. if i drove a car rush to ur home, ur home would be destroied..chinese product= cheap, not equal to weak. i give u 10 cents, can u make a same quality pair of socks?we can make good product, ask walmart to pay more..
