UPDATE....the rotten selfish bastard that did this to Mercy got 4 YEARS for this atrocity! 4 YEARS! He'll probably be out in 2 years. SOMETHING HAS TO CHANGE! PLEASE WRITE YOUR CONGRESSMEN...MAKE THIS STOP! THE punishment for harming an animal should be the SAME as if your harm a human. PERIOD! Animals have SOULS....and feelings!
