I play trumpet and I know how difficult it is to get that high and he did it on a trombone. Wow. Kudos. They're amazing.

I had the great honor to sub in the Airmen of Note three different times and I have played with Vaughn Nark, Rick Lillard, and Rick Whitehead many times. This band is great and I really love the soprano player. I only know about five guys in this band. Dudley and I went to the same community college in Florida, several years apart, and he is a great guy too. Of course what can you say about Steinmeyer. One of the best.

One of my friends just showed me this - we both play trombone. I was in complete awe.

I have stood in awe of Dave Steinmeyer for many years. I saw the Airmen of Note about 7 years ago in Riverside CA. What a great band. These two elements put together are dynamite!
Awesome! What a wonderful sound, not like the bulldozer one dimensional sound everyone seems to be going for today, but a sound that is always appropriate. And what a gentleman Dave is on top of it all.
Men with this golden approach to playing just can't be found anymore.

Such an amazing player!! For Dave Steinmeyer fans, I would HIGHLY recommend his album 'Bone Voyage' It's the airmen of note but the trombone section is featured in all of the songs and some featuring Dave soloing. It is INCREDIBLE!!!
