  • I love her life. I think she's fantastic and i can relate to a lot of what she went through!

  • ''I hear he tells lewd jokes in a most sensual manner'' -- Barbara Leigh-hunt is such a classily brilliant actress.

  • What a crushingly suffocating hypocritical society/era to live in. How wonderful that she found someone to love and had the strength to flout convention. How brave!

I must take inspiration from such a person, boxed into an appalling restrictive life and yet able to find a way out through the arts, philosophy and education. Rejection by ones male relations, esp father, has traumatising consequences. We are all human; sex, love and education are the basis of humanity. IMHO!

  • @thaisekine Yes they are; isn't AWESOME!!!

  • Is that Lady DeBurgh and Mr Collins from P&P (1995)? How wonderful :)

  • Her rebellion is admirable
