@fireutility21 Forget that, scare the hell out of them with bagpipes
-
@24michiganironbrigad The Black Watch is the 3rd Battalion Royal Regiment of Scotand, and I believe it was the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders that made that charge.
-
@fireutility21 Well it worked fine back in the not so civil "Civil War," The calls let everyone know where they were supposed to be and what they were supposed to be doing. Think how confused they would have been without it. Different times call for different measures. Have a good one! :)

@fireutility21 they won't hesitate to blow us out with RPG i guess,,,
-
@fireutility21 Last time it happened was in 2004, 4th battalion Royal Regiment of Scotland (The Black Watch), made a bayonet charge upon insurgent positions with Hielan Laddie being played on the pipes as they went in.

sounds kinda like Hell on Wabash
-
@501darth no i mean pipe as in bag pipws
-
@fireutility21 Pipe? You mean fife?
-
this exact beat is on the Gettysburg film when the Reb army is launching Pickett's Charge
I wonder how freaked/confused our enemies would be if we marched into modern-day battle with drums, pipe, and bugle
