2008 Allen High School Kick Off Pep Rally Music

This is the majority of the band portion of the Allen Eagles,2008 Kick Off Pep Rally in Allen, Texas.

The event is held annually in the competition gym to kick off all fall sports prior to the start of the school year.

This vidoe features the award winning Allen Eagle Escadrille Marching Band. The sound here does not do this band justice. The sound inside the gym was spectacular!!

The band starts off playing March Grandioso and ends with the Olympic Fanfare/Theme, Bugler's Dream.

Thanks to all the kids and Band parents, Mr. Gibson, Mr. Pennington, and all the assistant directors.

I graduated from Allen back in 2000. Does anyone know how large the band is this school year???

I'm hearing that there is a large increase over last year. Supposed to have ~570 w/instruments and then approximately 100 more with Drill Team and Color Guard.

I would encourage everyone to get involved in some type of extracurricular activity. I was in band and that was the only thing I liked about school, but got to go on trips, etc etc....great for being involved. Although Allen aint gonna win any big contest with the band, they are enthusiastic and involved. Some of those little West Texas high schools that have only about 150 students routinely show up at the state competition with 125 kids in the band...that's close to 100% participation.

Too big... that school needs to be split, seriously unfair advantage over most 5A schools.. Either that or consolidate some of the other schools around Texas such as Permian and OHS, Cooper and Abilene, and Madison/Roosevelt and create a 6A class
