Fifa 12 gameplay review stupid shit

This must be the most frustrating game ever! I play manager mode with Espanyol Barcelona :X at professional difficulty and here's some of the shit i've been going through while playing this game.

It's not that i'm that bad at Fifa since i've played every years edition since 1998. It's just that this game is unfair. Why?

The AI dribbles you out incredibly easy, no matter if it's Messi or Helder Postiga or Daniel Pacheco, they all seem Maradona, they're all faster and unpredictable while you are always predictable cuz the computer knows every move you try to make in advance. Their sliding tackles always send the ball to one of their teammates while yours miss or even worse the ball bounces on your opponent and he's still able to continue his run.

You're supposed to use team defense and patience to recover the ball while the A.I. tackles you so easily that it's quite impossible to dribble.
And then there are these stupid collisions that make you curse in the worst kind of way. AAAHHHH I hate it!

I still managed to beat Real Madrid at penalty shootout and win the Copa del Rey with Espanyol.

The more I play fifa, the more I begin to think its scripted. Like the game chooses which matches it wants you to lose and stuff like that. Like sometimes I play against a team and the AI is much harder than what the level I play on (World Class)..so to prove this I restarted a match and I changed the side select so that I control none of the teams and guess what, the team I was going against won the match. Its frustrating it brings out my ugly rage lol

@torhz101 i get that impression too... sometimes i win like 5 games in a row and then the cpu uses every means possible to end my streak like: on 0-0 -> cpu counterattack, 3 against my only defender left to stop them and that defender gets a PULLED HARMSTRING while running and i'm like FUCK YOU EA! ->alt+f4.

Does anyone else have the problem of the CPU scoring every fucking one -on- one chance its gets?!?!?! im playin career mode atm and everytime they enter the box they either pass it across (fukin hate that) or just score slot it past the keeper!

It makes having a good keeper pointless.

i lost to bolton 2-0 on professional. they had 2 chances and scored both! i had like 15 shots! grrrr. game pisses me off. sum1 pls agree

@iMoot11 no, the keeper is fine. you should have him rush out early when the cpu is one on one. i have kameni 83 at espanyol who is a great keeper. i agree that the game pisses off.

The manner in which the CPU plays, the tortoise like speed of the game, the limp defensive system and the pain of having to ‘work’ endlessly for the ball make this entry in the FIFA series the worst that EA has ever released. Every match I have played has reminded me that I could be doing something far more valuable with my time. Do not believe the hype. There are better ways to spend your time and money. Trust me

He´s completely right about the replay system, wich is absolute shit because u cant rotate the camera or zoom in. Pro Evolution had a replay system 10 years ago that is still superior.

And playing the so called AI is torture. They stall by running in opposite direction, hold the ball

That game has scripted movements. you load a shot perfectly but it´s set that the ball can either go in or hit the cross bar. You want to take the ball to the left but it is set that your player makes one little step too much so the defender exactly has the right distance to you that he can stop you. You want to stop the ball but because the defender in front of you is called pique and has 90 reaction your player lets the ball exactly roll ahead enough that piques 90 reaction come into effect.

it does, Ea confirmed they use an "elastic band" style AI, which means that the AI improves when you play better

oh thank god i found this video i thought i sucked and was starting to go crazy. I have had my last defender decked by the opposition giving them a clear run to the goal one too many times >=(. Last week i even lost to cardiff city 4-0 they had 4 shots i had 22. the defenders flung themselves in front of every shot.

Today, I just played in the Italian cup. Against Cagliari (#last in competition). First half I completly dominated the game, fully controled. Ahead 2-0 in just 12 min. Then after, I still got some pretty good changes. It should've been 4, 5-0. But yeah, that's not realistic. So then, first 15 mintues still domanited (second half). Then they did manage to score the 2-1. Then they played amzing, and comparesing to the first half it was a complete different team, unbelievably good. Lost 3-2........
