There's a pretty big petition out there for Apple to leave FCPX to the consumer market, and for them to instead return to FCP7 adding better features. Should be easy to find online.
@digitalhecht I just saw that Adobe seemed to be paying a lot more attention to the needs of professional post production workflow, and with the integration between Photoshop, After Effects and Premier getting easier and more streamlined with each release, it seemed like the inevitable outcome. Apple, which it has proven with this FCP release, seems to be trying to reel in these home users with their "easy to use" stuff. I thought they were on the right track with the first Studio release.
3 years ago, I made the prediction that Apple would eventually chase me away and I would become an Adobe Premier person. That day seems to be closer than I had guessed. I have been editing with FCP for 8 years, and this new software looks like iMovie humped Color, nothing more, nothing less. Way to let down your pro users Apple.
You guys are great!. I love this clip! Gotta share it.
Yes Apple thanks for jacking us and showing us you really didn't have "Pro" editors in mind when you upgraded iMovie and gave it a new name trying to pawn it off on us. Good features? Yes. Pro? NO! I've been a Mac die hard for over 12 years and I'm now sorry to say- Apple's living in it's own bubble. Watch out for the POP!

@colbysexton Very interesting. I am curious what exactly caused you to make such a prediction 3 years ago?
