Time-lapse, stop-motion, and bread! :-) The yeast time-lapse sequence is about fifteen minutes long and non-linear; I began at about one still photo per minute, but after a few minutes things started happening really fast so I got up to one photo every 5 seconds or so. Towards the end of the sequence things slowed down again so I backed off to a few stills per minute. Dough-rising sequence is linear and an hour and a half long. Stills are about 1-2 minutes apart, varying by how much attention I was paying to the clock. Bread recipe is 2 cups warm water, two tsp. dry yeast, a bunch of honey, several pinches of salt, a fair bit of olive oil, two handfuls of almond meal, and enough white whole wheat & unbleached white flour to make for a good kneading consistency. Maybe five cups flour, give or take. Baking time was a little over an hour.
Hi John,
Loved it! However, you've gotta get a whisk. It has a much nicer sound than the metal spoon hitting the side of the bowl...more "mellifluous"...Send me your address, I'll send you a whisk. Anyhow, the video was great ... will show it to the kids.
