Yeah I know, I just don't want to take the time and effort to do that. I like the brown look to it aswell.

what you can do is take the coral out monthy and use a 1 parts bleach and water solution to bleach it and make sure you rinse it well, to where there is no oder of bleach and you are fine, the man from LaFishGuys does the same thing with all his dead coral and decorations. =)

Just your typical flourecent bulbs. The issue with the coral is that it turns brown after a while, see the little piece to the left of the tank.

what kind of lighting are you using on these small tanks?
Nice piece of bleached coral...realy like it.
