  • This device really has to be practiced with the on line video. most people who pick one up for the 1st time have no idea what it is or how to use it even martial artist. It's made super strong para cord a metal shaft and a almost indestructible cord lock shaped to hit and press points. When you pull the cord lock down the keys can shoot through the shaft of the device the keys shoot out from short range to long range the ring helps it from flying out of your hand from the speed of this action.

  • The finger ring is your choice to wear. There is a chance you could get your finger trapped in the trigger of a gun also but does not take away it's power. The feeling of it in your hand is nothing I can explain it has to be experienced. Don't judge the pie before you have tasted it.

  • NO 1 or 2 hands but 2 is easy to defend it takes less skill.

  • If they grab the keys you can strike them with your free hand while their hands are on the keys.

but as long as you grip the sharp shooter no pressure will be on your finger.

If you don't like the finger ring you don't have to use it and it still works.

  • Yes it is great for wrist locks I will put a video up in 2 days with some examples. In fact we had a booth at the Arnold expo and I sold 10 to a person who I dropped with a wrist lock.

The 2 arm strike has more power yes but you are right as you don't need that much power to stop a person with this device. It's nice to know the sharp shooter is made to take that type of force though and it just feels good to do. I'll tell you this it's a lot more fun to train with than the kubaton.

  • what if they grab the keys?? like we all know, things happen at such a fast and violent pace, it becomes very hard to apply "clean" technique. one of my problems with this design is that if the keys are grabbed, then the person attached can be dragged. if the person decides to release from the SS. now the attacker has control of weapon. and like you pointed out, since it's so much easier to use than a traditional kubaton, now the attacker has a flexible weapon with access to car, house etc.

  • I think this is a great idea, either way, someone being attacked has a better chance with this than without, and of course they should also be instructed on how to properly use it. If someone's going to be raped, they're most likely going to have the shit beat out of them or murdered anyway, and the way I see it, I would rather die fighting, I would rather die than be raped, that is the ultimate indignity to a woman, and I'd rather have this than nothing.

  • nice point!

  • you are assuming they will grab with two hands.

the finger ring is a good idea, as long as you can keep them at range.

  • I posted on another video of yours, but what happens if someone grabs the keys? I know the ring is independant of the shaft (that's what she said) but couldn't it still break your finger? I would feel a little better if it wasn't attached to my hand to use it. I'm wondering because i think it could otherwise be effective.

  • i'll watch the new vid closely when you upload it.
