An HCAN organizer hands out signs to be brought into Jan Schakowsky's (D-IL) town hall meeting on health care, August 31, 2009, in Skokie, IL. She then instructs people to leave them on a table inside so that they can use them again at another event later that week.

  • This is how evil operates.

  • I guess they love the smell of astro turf in the morning.

I can't take anything else they promise seriously.

They are everything they accuse the right of being.

  • LOL. We make our own signs. These socialists in line getting signs are there to support hand-outs. They could care less about America or you and me. They rather America go bankrupt and make all of us poor. Traitors !

  • Not all Dems are commies. Some are Marxists, Socialists and Trotsktites. Only half-joking. Many are knee-jerk Democrats that act out at ANY criticism of dems, as are some Republicans. I have met a couple who are Knee-jerk types and He is a Republican, her a Dem. It drives me nuts because neither will hardly speak coherently. She thinks Clinton is in the top 5 presidents and He thinks Clinton a half-step from the anti-christ. No ideas, Just name calling.

  • fuck you, plain and simple, the docs at NAS oceana, camp pen CA, Mirmar, and in damneck Va, are the best the medical feild has to offer, any enlisted marine will say so. YES the us military, at least for the eight years I was an active duty Marine, has a single payer system. we are the ONLY industrialized country to have a for-profit health-care industry. the only one, ask anyone on medicare if they want out. every system has its problems, ours is the only one that makes inclusion the problem

  • natesworld23, I laugh when you Liberals who have probably never been in the U.S. Military say the military has Socialized Medicine. Far from it, although the care in the majority of military installations is pretty scary. Go have a nice cup of shut the f*ck up.

  • Underground204020 ~ I hadn't noticed 'til I saw your comment. Gave me the best laugh of the day. Poor lady. She needs dental insurance. Maybe she can ask hussein to pay her dental bill.

  • Well said.

  • ProsperiaFan...you are so right! People w/o HC Ins. are never turned away. Dr's/hospitals/clinics factor in the cost of treating them to what they charge Ins. plans of those who have them, thus driving up costs to INSURED CITIZENS...it's the responsible people who end up bearing the costs of the entitled class that would rather be "grasshoppers" than "ants" (look that fable up. It applies here!) as it is tucked into their premiums. SO they should say THANK YOU 2 us instead of ranting at us.

  • AND natesworld23...I guess it's just that "entitled" mentality that generates the "...same choice not to pay the 20-40% overhead..." that drives so many NOT to buy HC and use the $ for something else that blinds others to the fact that YES, HC IS expensive, and the chances of needing SOME form of treatment lingers as a wolf at the door...so guess what...people who buy Ins. PAY in their premiums for that when if others were covered WE wouldn't be paying for them in OUR costs!

  • natesworld23...my husband joined the Marines right out of HS in'69...he and I went to different HS's and I didn't know him until he got out and we met in college. So NO, I am not the BENEFICIARY of any gov't funded HC system. As a civilian, my husband is a flight nurse (trauma/critical care) and has an excellent health plan HE WORKS FOR! He is now a Captain in the Navy Reserve nurse corps still serving HONORABLY! TriCare Not Needed! I made my "name" to honor: ONCE A MARINE/ALWAYS A MARINE!
