I saw this movie one time when I was broadcast in the 70's. I would love love to get a copy of it, just for the sake of nostalgia! KIngscrown25. I'll pay you to send me a copy. :-)

Truthfully, It's a wonderful Life was kind of a lost classic when this movie was made. It wasnt until the 1980's with repeated showings on locall stations that the original film became a classic(the copyright had run out and the film was in the public domain). This was the first version I saw. I had never seen the original until a couple of years later when it aired late on our PBS station.

This movie used to be played every Christmas. It's very hard to find now....this final scene moves me to tears every time! How wonderful to realize that we all affect and touch the lives of so many! To realize the joy that our own life was truly worth living.

It's a wonderful life came out before my time so i don't remember it but this one i watched every year as a kid with my Mom. I'll have to check the other one out but i know because it was something i shared with my Mom I'll still like it best because of the memories.

Not even close to the original. There are some classics that should just be left as classics!
