Liam O'Neill, GAA President Elect, from Laois was in Croke Park yesterday for Queen Elizabeth's historic visit. Accompanied by the President Mary McAleese - the monarch met with 34 children dressed in county jerseys - including New York and London. She then walked through the tunnel and onto the pitch before touring the GAA museum. The event is one of the most politically sensitive - as Croke Park was the scene of the Bloody Sunday attack of 1920 - when 14 people were murdered by the British. Liam spoke to Will Faulkner on the Midlands Today Show about his Royal experience. (This interview was broadcast on the Midlands Today Show on Midlands 103 on May 19th 2011.)
