A: Jet Convoy

This was pretty damn exciting, particularly if you weren't expecting it.

Thrust has orchestrated events so that Jetfire, being the only Autobot who can fly, is isolated battling the Decepticons and Decepticon-controlled Mini-Cons in the air. And on a nearby island, Autobots who were going to back him up from the ground now face the likes of Megatron and Demolishor.

Optimus Prime, who has barely recovered from the last episode, orders Red Alert and Scavenger to warp him to Jetfire's co-ordinates. In mid-air. And Optimus can't fly either. So once the warp is complete, Optimus is going to free-fall to the ground...

This is the first time Optimus Prime and Jetfire powerlink, and the only time the result is referred to as Jet Convoy, the Japanese name for the combination. In subsequent episodes, it's called Jet Optimus.

look at 2:33 its normal super mode... how did he transform so quickly

@Xnumaboy They just colored the chest piece wrong; it's still the right shape (except for the Decepticon logo). Later when he swoops Megatron and Demolishor though, he has the trailer for a few shots, which is just an animation error, not a transformation.

We arent in japan, So Why does prime say " Convoy "?

It's a script/production mistake. Just like how at the start of the series, most of the bulks called their Mini-Cons "Leader-1" at some point, and how the kids often call Sureshock "Grindor". Subsequent combinations go by the name "Jet Optimus".

Man those animation and music budgets must have been huge. I mean did you see tank guy move his wizard hands and optimus quick draw? Couldn't even see them move

And all of those many many moving songs they played

(To be honest I loved this show, but looking back it must have had a tiny budget)

@transformersjones Every episode up until the unicron battles had to be rushed because the show had to be ready for a dead line which was the toy release. It's a good show, but it's ambushed by animation errors galore.
