Muslim And A Christian - Original Sin

No one is able to keep the ten commandments. All have sinned.
Isaiah 24:5 The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant.
Isaiah 28:15 You boast, "We have entered into a covenant with death, with the grave we have made an agreement. When an overwhelming scourge sweeps by, it cannot touch us, for we have made a lie our refuge and falsehood our hiding place."

1. You shall have no other gods before me. 2. You shall not make for yourself an idol. 3. You shall not take the name of God in vain 4. Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. 5. Honor your father and your mother 6. You shall not murder 7. You shall not commit adultery. 8. You shall not steal 9. You shall not bear witness (lie) 10. You shall not covet.

The ten commandments shows us how sinful we are. It also shows God's Holy nature. Death was the penalty of sin. The ancient Jews had their sins atoned through animal blood sacrifices yearly. In a future event God was going to bring a new covenant.
Jeremiah 31:31 "The time is coming," declares the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.

God wants your heart to be clean.
Matthew 15:18-19 But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man 'unclean.'
Mark 7:21-22 From within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness
Acts 15:8 God, who knows the heart
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Psalm 119:10 I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.
Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God
Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Through Jesus Christs blood we would be atoned once and for all sins.
Hebrews 7:22 Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant.
1 John 1:7 the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin`
