@c3s4rms perhaps it's because Microsoft doesnt allow anyone to alter their stuff, whereas for android google lets the manufacturers and carriers differentiate their products however they want hence some are nice some are laggy so that's not the OS's fault it's the manufacturers'. for me you choose WP when you're tired of iOS and wanna try something new but same principally (cant customize).
