the character Zackie Salmon moved from Texas to Laramie...hence the southern accent. not a wyoming accent.

I am offended that people think Wyoming natives have a southern accent! That is proposterous! Laramie was portrayed terribly in this whole play and subsequent movie...we don't need any further damage... Wyoming natives are not hicks!!
