when I have to go to San Francisco I make SURE that I have enough gas to NOT get off the freeway in Oakland. I have a couple of friends from there and they did everything in their power to get out!

given the events over the last few days, it seems clear that Zennie saw long ago a lot of trouble ahead for his poor city.
I will have to think about this video a while, but right now it sure seems clear that this would could use a few more good dads....dads who love their sons enough to stick around every day and are good role models.

i can only guess that these schools might not be such great places to be. many of this states worst schools leave kids worrying about how to survive, not giving them a hopeful learning environment. No wonder kids don't go, i wouldn't.
You are right that kids need good families, but to be honest, i don't know why anyone would stay in such a city. My mom was in poverty but still managed to get herself and three kids to a rural environment where she knew nobody but was at least safe.
