Your dad was awesome for filming this video. Thank you for posting on YouTube.

Wonderful time travel! Glad it's preserved.

Great films. Look at the difference in the way the kids are dressed. In the fifties we were all prim and proper. Now our kids and grandchildren dress in a more free style of clothing. And the ladies in house dresses, and men with hats. It brings back nice memories. Thanks.

Really great, wonderful stuff! I (very loosely) model the Rock Island in HO, I posted a video response featuring a Pennsy T1, which I recognized in this video. Also saw the Rock FT in the Chicago RR Fair video, thanks again!

What is the soundtrack to this

@trainboy94 I don't know. It was some safe non-copyrighted music I picked up somewhere.

This is really wonderful stuff. It's sad that Columbus Ohio once had street cars, and now they are talking about getting them back or some sort of light rail, at a cost of perhaps billions of dollars. It is refreshing to see silent footage that hasn't been ruined by crappy heavy metal "music"

re "crappy heavy metal music", i prefer to use crappy hillbilly music with lots of harmonicas, although not everyone likes that. Watch out though, I might just sneak in some Iron Maiden one of these days :)
