A fairly complex flat knot derived from the Carrick Bend. Useful for seeing how to join series of knots. For more information about my work to go www.tomfooleryrope.com

  • OMG Becky, that would look great on the side of my purse!"

& to think this was used originally used & repeated over to hang or hold down heavy items on ships like Cannon Balls...

  • its essentially 4 intertwined carricks...nice!

  • @NancyToday ok so its for decorative purposes. thanks

  • @NancyToday Or you could sew it to the side of a purse. What about making it out of willow on the side of a basket or for hanging on the wall?

  • @YRUIM It's just for hanging on the wall! Or you could make a huge one and plant herbs in the parts. Make it out of white stones, even!

  • What a very cool knot! I really like that. You do it quite proficiently, too!

  • looks really awsome but i cant make up a use for this knot.

  • ay, that's pretty sweet!!!

  • Another great video!

I especially like the new backdrop.
