HERE IS A MIRANDA WARNING FOR OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS: --- You have the right to speak and act within the law. If you do not, everything you say and do will be held against you in a court of law, and it will be published worldwide embarrassing you so badly that people will point fingers at you.
--- A couple of days ago, Patrick Fitzgerald, the Illinois District Attorney held a press conference about the arrest of Illinois Governor Blagojevich.
At one point he said that Illinois is the most corrupt state in the nation. Well, we all have the right to dream, dont we? He would have done right to ask for a Second Opinion.
We would have told him that corruption in the United States has acquired epidemic proportions and has reached the level of organized crime.
I am sure you could not avoid media reports on the FBI bugging of the Governors telephone calls, trying to sell Barack Obamas Senate Seat to the highest bidder.
No sooner was Blagojevich RELEASED on his own recognizance when he claimed he did nothing wrong. That is precisely what other racketeers say or have said.
We have been investigating congressional corruption for over two years, mainly in the context of law suit fixing, that is the payment of money by parties to litigation to elected officials to act quid pro quo under color of office to call ex parte judges to intimidate them to obstruct justice.
I understand: this must be boring to anyone who has not been or is a party in a lawsuit against a corporation. But this goes further, it is a brazen denial of meaningful access to the courts, guaranteed under the constitution. And it is of international interest.
I have successfully argued cases before Germanys highest patent court, the Bundespatent¬gericht, and therefore can tell you: If you are in Central Europe and need to sue, even as an American you will be given full access and due process.
Dont you think this is a two-way street?
--- CSI-Jacksonville has investigated payments made by parties to litigation to 52 elected officials, Members of Congress and Senate, and has concluded that in 48 cases there was a nexus to the underlying litigation. In other words, corporations paid money to politicians in return for acting under color of office by making ex parte calls to judges and their law clerks to intimidate them to obstruct justice. The cases published so far involve Senators Barbara Boxer, Bill Nelson, Saxby Chambliss, Hillary Clinton, and Congressmen Feeney, Sensenbrenner, and others.
Anyway, I am not going to repeat those stories other than to say that congressional corruption has brought this nation to the level of third world nations.
--- Instead, lets have some fun. In what Rachel Maddow would call a Holy Mackerel story, MSNBC just reported that Michael Chertoff, who runs Homeland Security was caught to have hired illegal aliens to clean his house
--- Der Spiegel reports that in East Germany a train ran 25 miles without a crew or a driver on board - nobody was hurt, though.
--- On a more serious side: According to an article published by the Daily Mail, an actor almost died when he acted to commit suicide, because somebody had switched the prop knife for a real one.
--- A terrorist gave the Court in Duesseldorf, Germany, the middle finger when on trial for an attempted suicide attack that failed because his suit case bomb didnt work.
The Court in turn gave him the finger when it sentenced him to life.
--- According to the Daily Mail, the retail chain Woolworth will be closed after the administrator could not find a buyer. Indeed, the economy is so bad in England that according to a survey conducted with 5,000 small businesses 40% plan to close down.
--- Finally, Europe hit hard by the recession plans to easy temporarily on global warming issues, much to the chagrin of Barack Obama.

@Ryzler13 If a court or legal system is not abiding by the very laws they impose can a subject go out of their way to research and expose and defend themselves against prooven tyrany, injust behaviour, oppressions, abuse, manipulations, corruption, violence, etc?

Who creates the laws of given countries and societies? If a state law opposes a federal law yet the democracy for a state accepts the state law and opposes the federal law whose law shall prevail?

How old is the law being applied and how has society changed since the law was written? Has the law bein applied been updated and reviewed or revised or has there simply been another law placed over the top of it that may in some instances conflict.

Define law? Which country? Whos knowledge base is the law based on? When can this law be imposed? Is the law still applicable 15-20 years after a crime occurs? Is it applicable 15-20 years after the person has been discovered to commit a crime but not convicted can it be impossed when a subject has some ideas that a country wants and uses such crime that was once let pass against such a person to try to gain control or access to information or research that such a subject was working on?
