This is a work-in-progress drawing of Catwoman, created on a Mac using Manga Studio 4.0 Ex and a Wacom Cintiq 12WX. The video hasn't been sped up, it's in real-time (which accounts for the boring bits)

nice work as always. how is manga studio? it amazes me how you get that crisp line quality. ive been trying to get it with the brush settings for the longest time and cant quite get it in photoshop. its bugging the shit out of me. have any tips?

MS4 is great, the brush algorithms are really sharp, very customizable and you can get lines that are I think indistinguishable from real ink. It's a great piece of software and I haven't even begun to really delve into all the tools.

how come theres a lot of feathering and a lot more detail in your work for Batman and Robin unlike your work in Cat Woman or Prince of Percia , did they ask you to go for a frank Quietlyishh look ?? i read Cat woman mostly for the art you are way UP there with Bruce Timm and very few other masters

wow great work, but it would of been cool if you put like a head band with some cat ears on it but still great work

Great work! One question, though -- why are you painting spot blacks in manually, instead of just filling? Seems like you could be saving a lot of time. Maybe there's something I'm missing...
