  • She's always wiping her nose

  • @ScrapNfight You never had a cold?

  • Great clip! But it ended just when it was getting to the good stuff!

  • She just talks about mental illness after that, not Billie nor her records.

  • Patty Duke's performance in Valley Of The Dolls is NOTHING to be embarrassed about. Quite the contrary. She portrayed a rags to riches you celebrity exactly the way it is played out in real life now. She was brilliant. Her performance was too real for critics. Too "ahead of its time", if you will. Patty Duke is no less than amazing. Bravo Anna!

  • She played that young, self-destructive talent brilliantly. Had Patty Duke been twenty now and making that movie with the same performance, she would win an Oscar. She's multi-talented and she was also adorable. Could you imagine how riveting the "Pool Scene" would have been if it played like it was written in the book with two men making out rather than a man and woman? Patty was quite gritty when need be. Good girl! Thank you for this treasure of Hollywood - "ala Duke"!

  • ....."sparkle Neeley, sparkle"....

  • My favorite scene out of any film.

  • You did just fine, don't change a thing you might not be talking about the movie this moment.

  • AHHHHHH!! I WANNA HAVE A VALLEY NIGHT WITH PATTY DUKE! OMIGOD I WANNA WATCH VALLEY OF THE DOLLS WITH HER!

  • I thought she was great as could be at the time. She'd barely come off the Patty Duke show. So young. I think she could of easily done her own vocals as well. I especially loved "Give a Little More" . I honestly thought that was her voice cause she had the whole broadway style of moving while in her black tights. I thought she had taken some additional training is all.

  • Neeley O' HARAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

I don't care what she said, she worked the hell out of Valley of the Dolls! Classic movie.

  • Love Patty Duke! "I've done six albums!" Good for her, and us, too.

  • really really great interview!

  • @ScrapNfight must've been allergy season.

  • Broadway doesn't go in for booze and dope! At first its quite a laugh, but then again you hardley ever hear about drug addicted Broadway stars. One bad night and they get rid of you, no time for retakes.
