@pjcdrummer Yeah for some reason I made the mistake of thinking I could just slowly learn by myself...that isn't happening. Now I'm stuck with an instrument I can't play in even the least, and no one to sell it to to recoup the cost. I'm in GA, and I can't find anyone who will give lessons either, let alone even knows what an erhu is.

@tsukael I have the same problem I bought one 2+years ago $100 + shipping I just can't find any body here in NY to give me lessions. I did buy a vcd once but it stunk I see other ones on E bay once in a while but no eng sub. I do take it out once in a while & try to keep it in rotation w/ my other instruments (my Maine in the Drums) guitar, acoustic & electric, full kit & hand drums,

Playing the erhu is so much harder than one might think...I watched a billion videos of it being played, far away, close up...watched several tutorial videos as well...and read every article, book, paragraph I could get my hands on that had to do with learning to play the erhu...went out and bought myself the cheapest I could find ($100 plus shipping), and I can barely get it to even make a sound...even after learning so much about the instrument, how it works, etc. This shit is tough.
