Easter Sunday With Brad

It's been just over 6 months since our best friend Brad suffered traumatic brain injury from his car accident back on September 24th 2009. We spent Easter Sunday afternoon out at the farm with him and his parents. The boys built a rocket that we purchased from the hobby shop and set it off. This was the most walking Brad has done outside of the Ponoka rehab facility. His dad couldn't thank us enough. Brad amazes us every day with his progress, and has come a very long way. We hope his speech and motor skills continue to progress and that we can get him out on the boat this summer!

He is doing so good. He will probably need assistance for the rest of his life, unless he proves everyone wrong....and I think he can do just that! I get teary eyed too, out of joy that he has come so far! Sure miss having him around and being able to do everyday things. He has lots of time and still a lot of healing to do...but he will get there. I have a Flip HD camera that has a program for making these videos..its so simple yet so effective!
