I wouldn't use the word mediocre either, you are really underrating them.. lol Go talk to some English football fans, they know all about those guys. And yes, that makes some sense but it's not like it would have been unusual for him to play for the US, people in his situation play for the country they're born in all the time. Did he make the right decision though? Absolutely. In interviews, he talks about how he grew up dreaming to play for Italy, now he's got it
-
@BrnoutJerzey maybe they're not shitty player but they are mediocre players compared to other player. Rossi is italian he is just born in Usa and lived there for not more than 20 years. This make u an american? He just want to play in a team that can win something internationally. Donovan and these other players are american for more than one generation, that's correct for them to play in US
-
if you say they're shit players, you're just ignorant. There is nothing called a "pure" american, pick up a history book dumbass. But seriously, if you think those guys are not top quality players, you're just being childish. It's not even debatable, you should grow up and take off the rose colored glasses
-
@BrnoutJerzey all shitty players. and anyway they're "pure" american players rossi is italian there is nothing to complain about it. he is just born in usa
-
it's a name. Grow up buddy. According to your very flawed logic, Clint Dempsey, Landon Donovan, Brad Friedel and Tim Howard should have never played for the US. Don't be stupid
-
@BrnoutJerzey he is too good for playing in USA. they call it soccer...
-
how can someone be too intelligent to play for the US? What a dumb comment. And he lived in the US until he was like 16..
-
@citronex you r what u feel

@mericolosa this is a ridiculous comment. In soccer, you are where you learned how to play. He's an american, but his family is Italian. He probably grew up watching Italy play instead of USA because of his family, therefore he felt the blue jersey more than the white one. Too bad though, if he had some balls he could have sparked a pretty awesome revolution among kids in the United States.
he is italian ,rossi is tipical italian name,his parents r italians and he lived in italy for long time!!!so the fact that he is born in usa doesnt mean he is american!!he is too intelligent to play for usa
