  • Very nice. I think the guitar mix is fine. I hate the sound of cheesy condenser pickups, and would much prefer this to what most people have going on.

Good accordion, tuba rhythm comping during the guitar solo. Usually the wheels fly off when the guitar stops. Nice solos from all, and very musical. I like this a lot.

  • Unique! I adore it. It is crazy! Apropo of music and crazy musicians see what these guys from South America (BRAZ and ARGENT) do with their instruments. The video titles are:

    - Voninho e Marcelo

    - Tio Mederico- Dvd Os Serranos 40 anos- Sempre Gaúchos

    - CARLITO BADUI E TAQUIN FÃ GERALDO

    - CHANGO SPASIUK EN FORMOSA KILOMETRO 11 -10/10/2009 (4)

  • @snorkelbda03 Oooh, I love guitar geek questions: It's a 1927 master model L-5 that went back to the factory for a new neck in '33, which accounts for the block inlays. It's been my main acoustic for all sorts of projects for about 12 years. So, while it's a Loar-designed Master Model instrument, it's not a "Loar" because any instrument made after Lloyd left the factory (end of '24) doesn't bear his signature and thus can't be termed a "Loar".

  • Im sure the guitar sounded fine in the audience mix...its most likely the bad sound recorded by an on board mic of a video camera.

Matt.....what are you playing there...an authentic L%, a Loar? Cant see from these bad seats I got back here in the

  • Hey guys! Great playing! Just one remark... it's very common... but still. The guitar really needs a little more volume in the mix. Maybe the mic needed to be a little closer...

  • Great music, and really nice playing! Reminds me of Detroit's Royal Garden Trio. Love the guitar, I have a '38 Epi Broadway-Great playing Matt!

  • i like tony murena thanks ;)
