Haywood Community College Electronics Engineering Program
Mike shows his challenge circuit using nine relays. Each relay is 24 VDC, 2 N.O. and 2 N.C. contacts.
The goal was to make two lights flip flop with the press of one button. This circuit was compared to a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programmed to do the same logic.
Great job Mike!

  • I know how to work with relays and latching but to use only one button to do that is a trick! Most people think its easy and its not! Good Work!

  • @tomatexelon Thanks

  • what a mess you could do that with the relays alot better mind you plc's are still simpler but thats a mess clean that up

  • @melak6 What you don't know is the school's budget was so tight, I had to use any scrap I could get. But if you have some spare change laying around, donate it to the school and we will make a much cleaner example.
