Steamer Titanic Plunges to Sea Floor

A 30-inch Academy-Minicraft model Titanic, complete with "watertight" compartments belowdecks and iceberg damage on the starboard bow, goes down. Model takes a full two minutes to sink, but my camera only takes 15-second videos. This video only shows the final plunge.

You should try one with the model sinking at the ocean.

@drawingdude267 The ocean is much too rough for this model. It's not *that* sturdy. :) But we are planning a sinking to scale depth (about 35 feet deep) with on-board video in the next few weeks.

i keep seeing thses titnaic skinking videos.... Why dont you first create a working model of the titanic, Then put a big gash in the side and it sinks that way :D

@BlueDragon4484 There is a gash (or pattern of small iceberg damage) in the side - see our newer videos for more detail. We're not planning on motorizing the Titanic models we have this year, though.

Was anyone inside the ship when you did that??? Because it's not legal to put people inside your ship and then sink it, at least without telling them in advance.
