@waffiki I see, as you could not know the Russian archives or to read the letters of Мenelik II, but the Leontiev's command of the Russian volunteers participated in the battle in composition the Ethiopian army, they had only one doctor and on this account Russia was able to send a large combat hospital in three months after the battle. Menelik's cousin Damto discussed much in Military Academy during visit to Petersburg, he perished during battle (some Russian officer perished together with him)

what on earth are you talking about? Adwa was a war between italy and ethiopia. and only Ethiopia who fought and the war was won by Ethiopians and Ethiopians only. no Russians or anybody else. at that time for Ethiopians, white are white, whether they are from italy,russia, france or british.

So Leo Tolstoy sent congratulation about victory for Мenelik II by reason of real spiritual solidarity, but you prefer to repeat of Мussolini. Can you analyse to understand, what part (winning over own tribalism) to battled that people became spiritual and mental creatures, and what part wanted that people became the banal new type of animals?
