So who do we contact if we have 100 percent disability just not mental? my friend who i have taken care of for 9 years who is 34 years old and normal in the mind is in danger of going too nursing home and we cant get any help, no one cares its like we are asking for welfair

@TheMamagothika - Who to contact depends on where you live. In Indiana, contact The Arc @800-382-9100. In other states, contact a Center on Independent Living, an Area Agency on Aging (despite the age of your friend), or try dialing "211" if your state has a "211" information system. Indiana and other states have some programs and services to help support adults with physical disabilities in their homes - although programs are limited and most if not all states have waiting lists.

I am a person with a disablitie, that is a Self-Advocate and a Advocate for others. I would not change it for anything and when i se videos like this one, it touches my heart and i hope it keeps on growing because we are all equal and where a team
