  • I have a simple rule with trucks - if you can't see their mirrors, they can't see you. I also give them lots of room when passing. Frankly I'm surprised that the CHP is actually enforcing the laws. It's a nice change, now if they could keep that up it would be much safer out there.

  • Good video. These are violations that need to be enforced more.

  • Tailgating is bad, but cutting in front of large vehicles without leaving enough room is a much bigger problem. I have people entering my lane just a couple of car-lengths in front of me every day. Some will even slow down afterward, making it worse. Larger vehicles take longer to stop, and placing yourself too close in front of one is like running while holding a loaded pistol to your head. You just hope nothing happens . . .

  • Very dangerous when next to a semi

  • That hispanic dude didn't look like he was even big enough to drive a rig.

  • How else is he supposed to get the driver's attention? By hitting his lights 6-8 carlengths back? If he were that far behind *me* and hit his lights, I wouldn't do anything because I wouldn't think it was me he was pulling over.

  • @XeuterpeMUSICX

It's funny how he gave the driver of the white van a ticket for "following too closely", when the cop is doing the same.

  • What?! what a bunch of bullshit...they werent following too closely

  • Stanley, you should become a cop. Better yet, will the TV station pay for you to go through cop boot camp? THAT would be a fun series of stories!

  • I drive a Ford excursion (some of the time) and people love to cut me off.
