Craig Anstey - Ordinary Girl

With your hands stuffed up your sleeves
Your face fixed half way down your collar
Tears pouring down your rosie cheeks
From the wind so sharp, so bitter
Brilliant October colours
Of every shade of red and yellow
They surrounded you like a backdrop
For a painting or a picture

Hurt filled your face, There was emptiness in your eyes
An unsureness in your step, like a lost child

Ordinary girl, tell me whats your story?
I can see a little of me in you
Though you probably wont remeber me
Or that chilly october afternoon

They say a lot can happen in so little time
But the def stay def, the blind stay blind
My name hasnt changed, Neither have I
Maybe someone like you could've changed my mind

Hurt filled your face, There was emptiness in your eyes
An unsureness in your step, like a lost child
Ordinary girl, whats your story
I can see a little of me in you
