Reaction: Air travelers face stricter screening

- The Transportation Security Administration will begin enhanced screening procedures today for passengers flying to the US from countries that sponsor terrorism such as Pakistan and Yemen. Do you believe this will make air travel safer?

- Are you concerned these new security measures will lead to racial profiling or do you feel that screening people from countries of interest is appropriate?

- Do you expect a terror attack to occur on a U.S. passenger plane in 2010?

I feel for them, but we have limmited resources. If 300 people are getting on an airplane and we only have time and money to search 10 people, who should those people be? Do we focus on 80 year old Russian women, a suburban Mom with 2 kids, etc.?? It's just common sense. The Islamic community should also do it's own internal police work. I was proud when a Muslim leader stood up recently in NY and said "enough with jihad." But we should hear more of this. Unfortunately, we don't.

If you have limmited resources and 300 people are getting on an airplane, and you ONLY have time and money to test 10 people???? WHo do you check? Do you check Joan Rivers? OR Do you text someone who traveled in contries with Islamic extremists? Do you test an Irish man or someone from Yemen? Pure racial profiling wont work, but with good background research, it can be effective.
