  • Can you create DVD backgrounds using GIMP 2.6?

  • @SkremeWorkStudios Yes, you can use Gimp or any image editor to create DVD menu backgrounds.

  • I'm guessing thus is only for the 600$ one...:|

  • @droctogonapus1223 No, you can do this with the $49 version of Sony Movie Studio.

  • Stupid question time again Bill. How do you get a project that is finished in SV to dvd architect ? . I have done a good wedding video and it burns perfect onto a dvd . Now I want to learn dvd architect so that future projects are even more polished .

The help section in dvd architect is useless. I cannot find the project in any files to add to it . Even though it is in my sv 11 hd program. Loads of help on making menus etc.... but none on how to get the media in to it .

  • @evsynator In Sony Movie Studio, use 'render as', then choose the 'ntsc DV' template, and give the file a file name.

Then open DVD Architect, and open the rendered file. Then follow the steps I show above.

  • @guerillabill ... Thanks Bill. Spent 2 days trying to get a project in. It seemed the only way I could do it was to save it to a folder of my choice. It seemed impossible to find it in sony vegas. Thanks again for your help.

  • Great information, truly appreciated.

  • Thanks Bill!

  • It's cool how you can make your own graphic menu in a separate program then add interactive buttons in DVD Architect on the parts of the graphic menu.
