He was her rock, she was his centerpost.

  • R.I.P WAYLON N JESSI

  • @mudhog81 Jessi is still alive and preserving her husband's legacy.

  • Tompall Glaser didn't even write this song, and it really was never supposed to be recorded by anyone else and in fact wasn't supposed to be recorded at all. Jessi wrote this as a personal song for Waylon while he was sick and when he got better she threw it away. So before you go throwing a fit and saying who's better at singing, know who wrote it and what it was for.

  • Don't get any better then Waylon and Miss Jessi. Love and miss ya guys. Once more around the floor and we can turn out the lights.

  • This was their theme song! Their favorite song, or so it seemed. They loved each other so, and it shows in the pics.

  • @acashfan1 I'm impressed you know the history of this song. I always thought Dotsy had the best version of it, and although it was a country song Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show performed it very well also.

  • Hi Jessi, me again. I had to come back to your site agin. I just can't stay away very long. Hoope this note finds you well and hanging in there. Both of us, my wife and me, we are cancer free right now, at lease that is what the doctors are saying, I know we can't take that to the bank, but, what the hell, we have to have some (Hope). Right? Hee, hee. God bless Jessi, your true Friend In Nevada, Ben and Donna 8-11

  • Jessi, we lve you and just want you to know, we play your music and Waylon's all the time. I know over the years, you two had some beautiful times, and some bad times. Hell, we all have had that. But, you two were made for each other, no matter how you cut it. May Waylon (RIP) and he'll be there waiting for you, no rush through, May OUR GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS, Ben and Donna, Fallon, Nv.

  • This is a great song, authentic lyrics and the best I've ever heard Waylon sing.Just beautiful country, thanks for sharing.

  • I'm telling you what, aging f~ing sucks....

  • @acashfan1 Waylon has said many a times who wrote this song and why. He even tells how he found it in the trash.
