Making a glycerin soap base is actually a very detailed and complicated project and one that I haven't even attempted for the blog yet because the recipes tend to be proprietary. If you want to learn more about how to make your own bases, I'd suggest checking out the book Making Transparent Soap by Catherine Failor which has some great tips in it.

Hi! I love your videos. Thank you so much for them! I have a question about the frosting part of this recipe. Can it be made without the SLS? Is it just there for suds or is it needed for another purpose? Thanks again! :o)

The SLS is what gives the frosting the bubbles in the bathtub and without it you will not have as long-lasting and thick bubbles. You can always try the more natural SLSA if you don't want to use the SLS in your batch of bath fizzie cupcakes. I hope this helps! =)

Hi! I was wondering is there anything that can be used instead SLS or SLSA? Or is it possible to make frosting without that? I have no way to get it, because shiping would cost me a lot more than product itself. Thank you.
