You might be interested to know that it was only doing that speed *because* it had the dead diesel on the back!

If they didn't hit the bottom of Eastwood Bank fast enough, they wouldn't have had the momentum to get them to the top.

She's a beaut! I used to ride the Moss Vale special home after school during the 1960s, usually drawn by 3801 or 3830. What a buzz!
