For his first dunk attempt at the McDonald's All American Dunk Contest, Austin Rivers took off his McDonald's All American Jersey and revealed a throw back Atlanta Hawks #25 jersey. It was the jersey of his father, Doc Rivers the current coach of the Boston Celtics and former player for the Atlanta Hawks. Austin then went on to put down the impressive windmill off the bounce.

The kid has skills no doubt. But im sick of seeing high school players and the media turning it all into mockery nowadays. Esp with hs fball seniors declaring who they will sign with. Its getting ridiculous an stupid. Its all a "dig me" and "i will get mine" show now. Its very off putting to watch. Why cant they just appreciate the skills they've been blessed with and go out an play ball. Some may disagree, but these are my own thoughts....
