truthfully metro doesn't reallybring up sin much. They try to cater to sinners and therby water down the Bible. This same pastor took the Lords name in vain from the "pulpit" to show what not to do. He does "preach" some good stuff sometimes but most of the time its entertainment. After going for 2 yrs (I'm a slow learner) I realized its rubbish. A little poison in a nice cookie will still kill you. I'd be happy to sit down with you Don, you seem reasonable and open to scriptures.

Mt 23 is where Jesus as talking about the scribes and pharisees and it went over like a lead balloon over the grand canyon! 2Ti 2:19 ¶ Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal,The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. IT DOES NOT SAY TAKE PART IN INIQUITY, Don! @jadrews76 Its not about metro and their "vision", its ALL about Christ, the Resurrection 1 Cor 15 and the gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. See I have lost "friends" and family that does not want to be around me for the bold stance that I take for Christ as it states in Mt 10:32-40. If a Christian can't live a separated life, unto Christ in this wicked generation we live in now! How will one take a stance when the persecution comes to America, that is is China today, right now??

@jadrews76 Man what a difference it makes when you not only have knowledge of the scriptures =-D But than you take that knowledge of the scriptures and you apply it into your life and the wisdom of God is imparted unto you as it was to Paul and the authors of the scriptures, to use it as the scriptures were intended for only ONE use and One use only, which is the edification of Christ, the resurrection and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Not to turn Christianity into a entertainment venue.

@jadrews76 See scriptures - 1 Cor 9;25 , I thess 2:19, II Tim 4:8, I Peter 5:4, James 1:12 and Rev 2:10. Like i said earlier, Churches have made it all about getting "saved". And they think they have made it to heaven! and they have, but there err to know, that getting saved is just the starting ribbon, not the checkered flag! Christians and their {pastors} have erred in not knowing the scriptures and being willfully ignorant of 1 Cor 3 and think they jugdment seat of Christ is not for them :-(.

@jadrews76 For rewards sake we look at the context of 1Cor 3, the judgment seat of Christ and the foundation on which a son of God builds on Christ foundation. A great brother & teacher of the scriptures has shown me in disciplining me,that we must read whole books of the bible in one setting to understand the whole context of the author and what God was saying through the inspired scriptures.There are 5 crowns that the scriptures speak of that a son of God can receive for their works on earth.

@jadrews76 Great question brother! The old testament commandments were for the covering of sin. The new testament commandments are for [obedience to the Lord] for fellowship and rewards sake. 1. Obedience to the Lord see the entire book of Galatians brother. But as far as obedience within Gal look in chap 4:1-11, but verses 6-7 mainly. We have been made sons of God where we can call God Abba father. As sons of God we don't want displease our heaven father, walking in disobedience to His Word.

@metrosouthchuch Where are we told that the commandments have changed? new ones found in the epistles? Are these not a summation? I thought it was, Forever o Lord, your word is settled in heaven. see Matt 5:17-19and 1 John 2:7

Now after watching those wicked videos, and Ye can say with a pure heart before a Holy God, that our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was beat to hamburger, wiped, hung naked, and all His Precious blood was shed on the cross of Calvary for this wickedness and lewdness? WHAT? Then friend you are living in Sin and deny that Jesus Christ is the Resurrection of Life. Stop making my Lord and Saviour to be some "modern, relevant - humanist! repent and change your conduct as a child of God.
